  • Because your home rental listings are dynamically displayed from your RentalHouses.com database, you must have an existing RentalHouses.com multiple unit rental advertising plan to purchase a website. If you have not already set up your multiple rental unit account, please do so first by selecting "List your Rental" on the homepage and following the step by step instructions to create your account.

  • Determine the type of website you want to purchase by clicking on "Click here for more information" in the box below located on our prices & plans page. If you would like further customization done to either website package before you purchase one, please submit a "request for quote" and you will be contacted for further information.

  • When you are ready to set up your website, log in to your existing account and select the "purchase" link like you see in the box below.


  • IMPORTANT: Enter the text in the form exactly how you want it to appear on your new website. Pay attention to punctuation and spelling. While completing the form, you may exit and return to the form at any time by choosing "Save" at the bottom of the form. What you have entered so far will be saved. To return later, log in to your account and choose "Manage Web Page" button. Enter more text or edit as desired.

  • After you submit "form completed," you will be notified by email when your website is set up and ready to be previewed. This may take a few business days. Please follow the instructions in that email to view your new website. If you need to make any text changes or corrections, simply log in to your account and select the button below and make your changes/corrections:


  • After previewing your website, when you are satisfied that your website is ready to go live, notify RentalHouses.com by sending an email to: websitehelp@rentalhouses.com. You will receive an email confirmation when your website is live. Please allow up to 48 hours for this procedure.
NOTE: In order for your website link to appear on your new listings, please go to "edit my account" and enter your new website address. You will also need to update your existing listings with the new address.


Domain Name Server Instructions
RentalHouses.com will automatically assign your website a unique URL, similar to www.rentalhouses.com/smithrentals/. If you would like to purchase a new domain name for your business or have an existing domain name that you would like for your website, please read below:
  1. For questions or assistance in purchasing and acquiring a new domain name, please email websitehelp@rentalhouses.com for detailed instructions and help.
  2. If you have an existing domain name you will need to contact your DNS server and request that the domain be pointed to:

      a) ns.bluegrass.net
      b) ns1.bluegrass.net

      Note: This process usually takes up to 72 hours.

  3. You will need to notify our programmer when this step has been completed by sending an email to websitehelp@rentalhouses.com .
  4. When notification is received that the above has been completed, your website can be set up to go live.
NOTE: If you currently have or will have other services associated with your domain name (such as e-mail) it may be preferable to have your DNS provider point only those DNS records necessary for website traffic to our web server at 69.64.15.54. If you are unsure about what is needed to properly setup your domain, please contact us and we’ll be happy to work with you to figure it out.
